Default Will half black angel nip at clams?

I really like the half black but really like the tri clams too; I read the angels will pick at the mantels, is that accurate? I don't want to put both in my dt to have the fish kill the clam....

Dana, I think its 50/50. They are one of the more agressive angels. I have a flame and it has never nipped at a coral. I believe if you keep your fish well fed it lessens the chance of it nipping corals/clams. I feed mine a small piece of nori daily. They are beautiful fish.
