Default Lawnmower Blenny death

Hello everyone, I had a Lawnmower Blenny for about 2 mos. Over the last 2-3 days I hadn't seen him out on the rock eating. I looked for him (It's like "where's waldo") and when I saw him deep in the rock he looked very thin. Well, today he was dead. I found him by looking for a gathering of crabs, as I suspected he was starving to death. It is odd, even when he ate, he only concentrated on one area of the tank and kept it so clean there really wasn't enough I don't think to sustain him. I thought he would start to eat elsewhere but even when he ventured around the tank he wouldn't eat anywhere else. There are a couple of trouble spots developing hair algae but he ignored them. Has anyone had a similar situation or heard of this and maybe why it happened?

Sorry about your loss. I heard they often starve but that is for want of algae which you seem to have more than enough of. I'll read up on it + keep checking back @ this site for further feedback.
The more I learn, the more I find I don't know.
