| I confused, many people are saying they voted more than once, and someone said that on the tank of the month too.. that they voted 4 times. I can't! I wanted to put myself beginner and intermediate..

| IMO, experts are the people who continually write articles and coninue to make books. Julian Sprung for example is an expert. Advanced people are those who do lots of research in a particular area, whether it be husbandry or disease. Intermediate are those who do some research, but dont really do much past the basic set-ups of reef tanks. Beginners are those who just got into the hobby and are in the preocess of setting up their tank and are still trying to figure out the basics of reef set-ups.

| Elliott, would you be able tio average out your experience to one! You voted for all and i dont get it! haha

| That Know It All category is like a smart ass throw away vote. I voted there too, but I also gave a different self assessment/explanation. I am wondering if some of these assessments are based on our early assumptions on what this thread was about (prior to plecosword's clarification). When I think of the term "expert" in this hobby, I am with you Elliott...I think of Sprung, Delbeek, Fenner...those who not only put a buttload of time in, but also dabbled in everything and have a working experience in the theories, culture, enviroments and other worldliness aspects of the hobby. I also find it interesting to note those who have not voted.

| hmm maybe if there was a option of "I dont even have a tank yet" there would be a few more votes
