Default Refugium or No Refugium

A few days ago, I was reading one of the most popular and widely used books for reef aquarists and noticed that it was talking about how refugiums are starting to gain some momentum. The book was written in 2001. Judging from the book, and what I recall from what I remember around that time frame, refugiums weren't very popular back then. Now days, it seems like the majority of people utilize them, myself included. This is just one more way to show everyone that while books are a great source of information, they fall behind the times quickly. Out of curiosity, I set up a poll to find out what percentage of people here on RB utilize a refugium in their setup.

I currently am running no sump or fuge.....Every setup from here on out will have one.... Been very tempted several times to remove 65% of the water and place in a bucket or two then..... Drill that baby with live stock in it.....
