Default Reef Keeping Books

Anyone have any reccomendations for some good, current, books on reef keeping? Many that I have looked at are somewhat dated or lacking in depth of information. Thanks!

I used one called The New Marine Aquarium by Michael S. Paletta its pretty helpful. I takes you though starting with an empty tank to aquascaping cleaning fish selection and the pros and cons to different equipment. Its really been helpful to me and id recomend it to anyone.

I have that book as well. It really was a great help to me. However, I am looking for something that gives a bit more advanced information. I would also reccomend it do anyone starting out.

The Conscientious Marine Aquarist by Robert Fenner is really good.

Check out "The Reef Aquarium Vol.3: Science, Art, and Technology by Delbeek & Sprung" All three books in the volume are excellent books. The third book was written in 2005 and deals with the science and technology end. For anyone beyond the beginner level, this book series is very nice. Beginners can also benefit from these books, but they go into more depth than some people like. Any book will get outdated very quickly, hence one of the reasons why the web reef forums have so many members.
