Default Florida Live Rock

I've read that Florida live rock can be better than Fiji. The article said that it weighs less, so there is more volume of rock per pound. Plus the article also said that because it is native to the US it is not stripped of any corals or other items that reside on the surface of the rock. Has anyone else ever heard these things? Is there any truth to this? What kind of cost differences are we looking at per pound? If anyone has any info I'd be interested to hear back. Thanks.

Hey Brian,
you need to put a space between the website and all those punction marks. The forum asssums that is part of the URL and the link doesn't work properly.

I've herd the florida rock is really dense and usually has things like mantis shrimps and other critters that we dont want as hitch-hikers

I have some florida rock, fiji, and tonga myself

I like to mix it up some, diversity is key
