Default Missing leoporad wrasse!!!

Ok, its ben a while. Anyway i pruchased a leoporad wrasse 2 days ago. I aclimated him for about 2 hours like i read and when i put her in she looked wonderful. I feed her right away what shae had been eating in the LFS and she eat alot. Well i couldnt find her tht night got online and read tht they bury themselves in the sand, which later tht night looking i found jsut her mouth. The next day she was fine swimming picking at the rock etc. eating the food i gave her and the other fish.
Tht night she went to bed same time as the past night, again i looked for her b/c i like fining this like tht, kinda like wheres waldo, anyway i found her mouth jsut to the side of one of my larger rocks. Well this morning when i got up she isnt anywhere to be found, not in overflow, or sump or in the sand thinking she was jsut still in it.
I read tht they an get disoreinted when they first come out of the sand from sleeping, my thought is if she isnt in a rock somewhere tht she might have got stuck under the rock she was sleeping near and couldnt get out b/c of tht? what do the you think and sorry for long story.
-I had the same thign happen to a pearly jawfish last week, think i might have a large bristle worm or somthing?

I had a wrasse jump out of the back of my tank, found him in the sump. The next time he vanished I never found him, until I moved. The skelton was under my stand.

Your leopard wrasse will disappear a lot! When this fish is threatened scared or at night to hide they will burrow in the sand and could stay there for some time. When first introduced to the tank they may hide for a couple days and if its a sketchy specimen it might hide a lot.

Cool fish; I almost got one, but I heard they're tough to feed. How's yours doing?
