Hey Semy,
My son also has a zebra Lionfish. When we saw him at the pet store, he was perched on the back of the tank, heard us talking and turned around and looked at us. Then he swam over to the tank wall in front of us and wagged his little body like a puppy saying, "hi, will you take me home?"

We told the store sales guy we wanted to see him eat, before we bought him. He threw in about 4 small live rosey reds, which the lion quickly pursued and devoured in rapid succession. Yep, this is the one for us, hungry and healthy.
He joined our 55 gal. - 4 ft. long, fish only tank along with a 5 inch spotted grouper and a freckled hawk fish. Only a small cave of live rock in the middle for the grouper to hide in. Otherwise lots of area to swim, pursue, and explore. We feed the two aggressive fish first ( thawed silver sides, mysis shrimp, etc), then we net out some of the same and target feed our lion. He loves to pursue live fish like guppies and rosey reds and for the first week we fed him exclusively live fish to get him acclimated to his tank mates and keep him strong and robust. We had heard they can be difficult to feed at first, so we spoiled him real good with live fish to initiate and establish his feeding pattern. But that gets expensive, so now we are weaning him onto frozen food which we hold suspended in the net as though it is alive, and he eats about two pieces after which we reward him with a live fish for dessert. He is adorable and is the favorite of guests when they come to visit.
I think he would do okay with the snowflake moray eel. My son wanted one, but the dealer discouraged us from getting one since they grow to 35 inches and we only have a 55 gal. tank. How big is your eel? Do you have alot of hiding places for it? Let me know if they are compatible. My son would love to get one.
Love that Lion
