Default aquascaping

I was thinking of adding more live rock and was wondering, how does everone have theirs setup?Do you have the''wall of rubble''?Do you think that the wall hinders water flow?Ideas and opinions needed.Lets get a discussion going.I 've seen some discussion about the foam backgrounds. How does everyone feel about its use?I probably should have posted this in REEF DISCUSSION.

I use the wall of rubble in most of my tanks. I get pretty good flow back there but if you desire more just through in a spray bar. Not hard to build and cheap .

The foam walls are cool and all and give you I guess a cheap backdrop, but I got in this hobby to build an artifical reef. I want the LR that comes full of critters. Half the time I spend looking at my tank (which could be hours on end) is on looking for new little critters and such. With a foam wall its easier and all but I'm not here for easy.

Hey adam, we can't log in! Anyway, here is how mine is set up. You want a lot of caves and openings for flow.

Nice looking tank unclejed!I agree with you Pyro on the live rock.I think the foam could have some interesting applications though.Think of the some of those rock designs that you wanted to do but couldn't with the rock because of weight, shape, gravity, ect. ...

Too true. Over hangs would be a cool thing to do with the foam.

I have tried to scape mine with as much flow as possible. I placed most of my rock on "footers". I'll see if I can dig up a picture for you.

FTS:

Kole also wanted me to show you all the back wall. It's easy to clean if need be and does not obstruct flow.

Thanks IceMan and Pyro! Tank has been up since August. Coralline has taken off like crazy and I don't add any supplements--so I couldn't be happier with that aspect.
