Hello everybody!!! I just bought A new rock and it has about 10 small colonies of pulsing xenia on it. And thats all I bought it for. But...It has some bubble algae on it and its A bit of an eye sore. Whats the best way to get rid of it? Is it ok to take xenia out of the water for a minute or two in order to scrape the algae off?

Also, This rock has 3 polyps of some type of palythoas on it, not sure what they are but I wouldnt mind having A small colonie of these around, they dont look half bad.

And also, im looking for zoanthids really bad right now, just frags, maybe 5-10 polyps, and something really nice looking to, dont really want any brown zoos, I can get those for free. So just let me know if anyone has any for sale, cuz I would like to see the pictures and I want to buy maybe 3 or 4 frags, just so ya know.

You can have the Xenia out of the water for a short time but it would be better to do it on your next water change. The water you take out of the tank can be put into a container that you can work on the rock in while it is submerged. Be careful not to break the bubbles of the algae as it will release spores and cause a mess.
