Default Half black vs. Cherub angel

So i got a hlaf black angel the other day formt he LFS which had been there for soem time so i new it was in good health, looked great too. Well i have a cherub and put them both together. I know what your all saying right now, your and idiot for doing tht, i wasnt doing it try and kill them , which they didnt i was jsut tyring to see how mine would react to another fish. Well they fought for soem time, the 1/2 black fifghting back which the cherub didnt expcet. I knew tht it wasnt a fighing to kill each other but more to put the new comer in his place but still wasnt a good idea, i did find out tyring to maybe find a mate for my cherub wouldnt be a good idea at all. The 1/2 black is now saftely in my 14 gal and is doing wonderful a lil beat as well as the cherub but there both ok.

So for all you out there thining baout placing different angels together think about how closely they look and what type they are, and there temperment. Not all angels will do this but you have to read alot, the forums or oline store will say tht its not a good idea but to make sure they look different. IMO i think tht if your gunna do it dont, buy them in pairs , if there ok in the store together ok, or jsut buy one. I thought it would work it may have if i left them together longer but i didnt wanna stress them both to much, and my ther fish too. anywas dont think too bad of me, everyone does things tht dont make since they jsut dont tell ppl. I want others to know of my findings so they wouldnt do the sae thing if they were thinign baout it.

Hmm, I"m sorry to hear they didn't get along, I had a half black and now have a cherub and they're awesome dwarf angels... Just out of curiosity, how much live rock do you have in your dt? Sometimes they do ok together if they look different enough but they either need to have tons of rock work and caves or a lot of space. But ya, better to be safe than sorry, eh?
