Default hair algea, not OFC, but still

Ok i got some hair algea in my 14 gal. I know how to get rid of it but i dont want to ge rid of all of it. I have 3-4 diff types of hemits in my tank, blue leg, red, scarlet, zebr and a halloween. I also have a bi-color tht eats it but not as much as i maybe i thought. I know tht a lawmower bleeny would tare through it but as i said earlier i dont wanna completely get rid of it, as it des help in the cycle f the tank.

My question would be i guess do i add something else more hermits or do i take it off manually?

john

Hey there John. I had an overabundance of hair algae and trimming it by hand seemed to help it die back tons. I only have a tiny bit now and my crabs are still good. (have 4 in my 55 and a lawnmower, he also eats pods)
