Default R.I.P Saddleback

My wife woke me this morning and asked where the saddleback had gone, I frantically checked the filter, under rocks , up an elusively long tunnel in one of the bigger rocks nothing. Im guessing the dottyback had finally gotten hungry enough to eat (which the saddleback was about the same size) or it jumped out somehow and my cat ate it. Either way I hope to find out some how. My first loss

Yeah water checked out perfect pre and post death... salinity a slight bit high is all. Im guessing the dottyback chased him to jump out because some of my frags were knocked over and the dottyback seemed guilty. I guess its bound to happen sometime just wish it wasnt that one.

Hey my Saddleback just committed suicide this morning, I have been trying to catch him for about 6 months and I walk into the fishroom this morning and there he is lying on the floor....Sorry about your lose, I was hoping to catch mine and put him in the grow-out tank with his girlfriend but oh well at least he is out....

Maybe this week is a bad week for saddlebacks eek!! Sorry for your loss as well . As a public service anouncement " keep your eyes on your saddlebacks, there have been numerous suicides or killings this week involving the beautiful species, any information would be helpful in the cause"
