I also now have an abundance of mysis and would prefer to keep them that way if possible while limiting the amphipods (too much to ask?)

Amphipods amounts in tanks usually go in cycles with high levels and lower levels. Pods are good for the tank, but if you remain to have extremely high levels, it could be an indication that you have too much waste in your tank, thus causing the higher than normal levels.

it's not the number that bothers me... its the size and apparent diet change that has me worried...
