Default How many fish in a 55

55gallon -

55lbs live sand
60lbs live rock
2 clarks
1 blue damsel
1 striped damsel
Cleanup crew

I know the damsels will need to go - Ive worked that out with the lfs when time comes.

How many fish in a 55? Was thinking
flame angel
would like a tang if possible but not sure if it will be happy in a 55 long term -

Are there any sites that show different combinations of fish for different size tanks - examples anywhere?

I dont wanna overload it long term and also long term I will have corals (saving for good lights)..........

Could I put a flame angel AnD a bicolor angel?

Thanks in advance
Tom

You'd be able to have a maximum of about 6-7 medium sized fish. I wouldn't recommend a tang because they will outgrow your tank. I also wouldn't recommend adding two dwarf angels into your tank because they will probably fight until one gets killed.

Personally I would not do 2 dwarf angels in a 55 gallon. It can be done but its more difficult in a smaller tank. You can try it but be perpared to remove fish.

I think with the current set up you have with the clarks staying i think 5 fish would be max depending on size.
