Default Questions on stocking a 90gallon tank

I have a 90gal display with 2 false percs, 1 banded goby and 1 hippo tang. This tank has alot of rock structure on the back wall and a completly open front area. There are a few softies in the tank an acropora and a trachyphyllia.

I would like to add a Scopas and a Powder Brown Tang.

So the question is what do you think about that many tangs in a 90 gallon tank?

All the tangs in question are about 3" right now how fast do they normally grow?

Default Re: Questions on stocking a 90gallon tank

I maintain and service aquariums, and one of my clients has a 90g reef tank. The fish in it are as follows. 5 percs, 1 gold head goby, 3 ignitias anthias, 1 powder brown, 7 green/blue chromis, 1 six line wrasse. I also have a multitude of snails, hermit crabs, sand sifting star, serpent star, and an anemone. This is a slightly older picture. No tang yet and coral ahs grown in.

I would remove the hippo. I like to have them in 100g plus. I know others may say otherwise. And I would not add any other tangs. Maybe just the powder brown. I tries convict, but they always die. They do not ship well and hard to find. A Naso would be nice too. It also kinda depends on how much swimming room they have.
