Default Lion in the reef?

Hello all I have a 75 gallon reef setup that has been running very well for seven years now. I have seven large green chriomis, two breeding blue devel damsals, one maroon clownfish, one yellow tang, and a fox face rabbit fish. I dont think a dwarf lion will mess with them, but I do have some cleaner shrimp, pepperment, and hermit crabs within the tank. The lion im looking at is only three inchs long. Well what do you all think? Will this fish harm my tank to the point when I have to get rid of him eventully?

Do you know the exact species of Dwarf Lionfish? It should be reef compatible but only with caution. It will eat any and all shrimp or small crustaceans including crabs. As well as any fish small enough to fit inside their mouth, and despite the size, their mouths can open up fairly large so watch those Chromis and Damsels very closely (# wise.) As for your corals, they are no threat to them at all.

No problem Brian, I know what you mean about the inverts too.. My Skunk cleaner shrimp Jacque was awesome, but when I went on vacation for a week I had a friend taking care of the tank for me and he was eaten because my buddy didn't feed them any meats.. Sad. But let us know if you decide to get a Dwarf Lionfish, or go with a small predator tank.. haha nice.
