Default Heater Watts

if i have a 40 gallon tank, how many watts in a heater do i need? i look on stores websites and it doesnt tell.

150W to 200W should do. What is the current Temp? What is your lighting?

lighting i told u in last forum post and my current temp is 66F i dont have a heater right now it just broke and im wandering because im buying a new one hopefully by this weekend, they can live till then, its hot out
