Always been interested in the names people give their pets...kind of reveals a lil of the personality of the owner/pet. Lets see some pics of your fish...their name...and why/how did you come up with the name.

well the yellow tang i am getting today my mom said she is naming it bubble.

Goby- Gaara charactor from and anime naruto

alright, i used to have a kole yellow eye, and it was always hiding, so my cousins named it haidi. haidi has sinced past away, so i got a yellow tankg names sunny. i have an antennata lionfish name ezekial. i dont have a name for my engineer goby, oscellaris clown, pseudo, damsel, chromis, coral beauty, or any crabs....or shrimp.

I call my pair of true perc clowns "my lil wigglers" cuz they wiggle so damn much !!

oh well that is just wierd or something that urs is named big blue and mine is going to be big yellow

this story is funny so like ever day i ask my dad lets go get big yellow and he says what are u talking about
and i say i am talking about the yellow tang and he say oh i thought u mean ur sister.
since she is large looking but wieght only 90 pounds

that's funny blind..although I'm not touching the family member thing...I think bubbles is a cute name for the tang...I had thought that if I had gotten a yellow I would call him short bus!!

Okay...i'll prolly get flamed for this (and I do feel guilty)..but I do have a hippo...my son gave him to me for a father's day gift... my mom took him to the lfs...he was so proud that he picked out a fish for me...I explained to him later that from now on we'll have to pick out fish together...but I couldn't break his heart and take him back...so I'm gonna raise him in the 55 until I get a larger tank or sell him back when he gets too big...he is small...but I named him Marshall, because he is really in control of the tank; and I named my clown Skipper..beacuse he "skips" around with his funny lil wiggle.

I refuse to name fish anymore. I have always had bad luck with fish that I name. Everytime I named a fish it would die. So that put a stop to that.

I have this little gold striped goby, I named him Napolean. He is small and mighty, very determined little fish. Survived ich one too many times...Napolean. The rest of the fish have been named by the 3 yr old.
