Default Feeding Fish

I was wondering how often you should feed your fish

Does it depend on what type of fish - Or how many fish - or both

I have 2 clowns and 2 chromis

We are starting out slow adding 1 - 2 at a time.

Im currently feeding them this frozen block of food the seller recommended. He says its the best quality and has the most in it. Shrimp and brine etc...

He says to feed 1 cube every other day.

Anyone have any opinions?

THANKS

You should be feeding your fish 1-3 times a day. for clowns and chromis's, i would do 2 times a day. In the wild, fish eat whenever they want, why shouldnt they be doing this in your home aquarium?

try somehting else besides fozen food, maybe some formula one and 2 flakes.

Thank you - I thought that wasnt enough food.

Is Formula one a dry block of food? Or does it need to be frozen/refrigerated as well?

What flake food do you recommend. Is there anything that will help enhance color for salt water fish?

Formula 1 and Formula 2 are both flake foods. They can also come in pellets so be
careful when you check the container.

Pellets are not to great for small fish. I would recommend the flakes.

Actually you might want to vary the frozen food too so they don't eat the same
thing all the time.

I do too just to keep the excess food waste down. I rely on the natural algae growth
to supplement them the rest of the day. I do vary my frozen foods. I use mysis, bloodworms, marine algae, brine shrimp, cyclops, angel/butterfly fish food and spirlina. I also clip a strip of nori in the tank as well.
