i want to add corals to my tank and i was wondering can corals produce waste and create amonia like fish do. Also can i add all the corals i want in my tank at once. i only want 5. Also i want the red Gorgonian ( Red Gorgonian (Diodogorgia sp.) ) for my tank and i have medum wanter flow. could that kill it?

Things that eat almost always have to get rid of byproducts. Corals are a lower impact level though than fish.

I put 8 frags in at once in a 55, and had no problems

55gal AGA, 2 hydor koralia 2 PH, 1 MJ 900 PH, Aqua C Remora skimmer, Eheim 2227 W/D filter, 6 light Nova Extreem Pro T5's, 60# LS, 60# LR, 2 carki clowns, 1 pygmy yellow angel, multiple colored zoas, ricordias, multiple different shrooms, frog spawn, nuclear candy cane, assorted leathers. Assort. snails, and hermits. Assorted SPS corals.

Also do some research I think that coral likes a dimmer tank and strong water flow...

I too have added alot of coral at once with out a problem... About 8 to 10 good sized frags. Just monitor your water perameter.
