Default Midas Blenny

I purchased a Midas Blenny a few weeks ago and he seems to be doing fine. The problem is that my yellow polyps are starting to go missing. First it starts with the little fingers on the polyps then a few days later the whole thing. Does anyone have any ideas? could this be my hermit crabs I have a pretty large one climbing around.
