Default ick?

I can't figure this out and its bugging me. i had my tank running for about 5-6 years now all of a sudden the last month i have been noticing spots of ick on my fish just a few spots like 1-3 spots. One day they will have the next morning its gone, does'nt make any since I thought my coral banded shrimp was taking it off maybe he is im not sure. OH! the fish i have are 1scopus tang,2tomatoe clowns,1coral beuaty angel,2domino dansel,and 1 lawnmower blenny. Any advice or 2nd opinions?

I wouldn't trust any invert to eliminate ich from a system and ich can/will fall of the fish as it matures. Usually the ich will either progressively get worse each week or go away on its own if the fish are healthy enough and not stressed out. Are yo sure it's ich and have you added any new fish or changed your system setup lately?

exactly! im not sure if it is but it looks like little granuals of salt on the fish just like ick. i just set up a seahorse tank and i had 2 domino damsels in there took them out and put them in the big tank when i got my kudas but this has been happenig about a month know. Everything is cleared up know it comes and goes it weird.

what do you think about getting a neon goby or cleaner wrasse just for percaustion?
