I have a starry blenny and I love him. He's got a great personality and to me a better look than a lawnmower (they look similar except for coloration). I would go with the one you like to look at the most.

i also have a pair of scooter blennies's,, a male and female,, the male larger and more colorful... great additions to a tank,,, the blennies, do a little dance when the lights go down , they join fins and swin in unison to the top of the tank and then swim back down,, and do it all over again,,

great addition to the tank

i just got a lawnmower blenny and love it - my son (50 mi N of) me got a starry blenny a few weeks ago with great success - i would have done the same but did not wanna be a copycat. BTW - His and my tank both had a little bit O' hair algae - His starry is chomping on his hair algae all away - my lawnmower just sits on mine so far but it is only 2 days in the tank.

he does a great clean up job, gets along well with sally lightfoot. i was concerned he was not eating enough as i tend to keep a clean tank. i tryed algee wafers,he wont touch them, but sally wolfs them down! he looks healthy,so i assume is is eating enough.
