Default sea robin?

hey guys help me out- I am just starting a new tank and im searching for a fish i had years ago but never knew what it was called. it looked like a sea robin maybe it was. It had 6 or 8 legs like a crab, a HUGE HUGE mouth, big eyes and side fins that looked like wings. It would walk at the bottom and ive seen it jump out of the water and almost fly. I know this sounds nuts but does anyone know what fish this might be?
