| I have a Red Coris Wrasse in the juvenile state. I think I see some color changes around the outside of its fins but it could be wishful thinking on my part. When they change is it gradual or you wake up one day and they have changed their color patterns? Thanks |

| it is gradual. many fihs do that. i have an engineer goby, and when young the stripes run parallel to the body, bot that he is getting to be a big boy, he has perpendicular lines that run his entire body.

| Thanks for the reply. Do you have any idea how old the fish is when they do this? The reason I ask is the previous owners said they had the wrasse a little over a year. |

| some reef fish can live up to 15 years!!! so it may take up to 2-3 years for it to completely change, perhaps longer.
