Default Metal Halides and your corals...

Hello,

My tried and true "fish guy" told me to be careful introducing my corals to the metal halides because I could burn them and kill them. They are coming out of my nano cube and into the 150. He recommened turning them on for 15 minn at a time 3x per day? Anyone ever heard of this?

Thanks,
Jessi

yes, you need to give the coral time to get used to the MH lighting. I turned my mh on for about 30min to an hour once or twice a day for the first week. After a week i let the time go to an 2 hours, then the next week it was 4, ect.
