Default tang eating cyano???

i have a blue tang that wont eat anything but pellets and cyano. im in the process of getting rid of the cyano but in the mean time the tang just works my rocks like hes starving, he wont eat my seaweed, i guess im over explaining here i just wanted to know if it will eventually hurt the tang, thnx

I have a 3" regal that eats cyno also. I don't have anymore cyno...thanks to the regal. None has grown back since it was all eaten. Now i have green stuff growing on the sand, it's about that time for it though....the tank is still maturing.

The only thing the cyno did to my tang was make it fat. Yours should be just fine.

ok, thnx. i just figured that if its a "bacteria", it would hurt it. hes like an inch to an inch and half.(i dont exactly know, hes fast and i never took a tape measure to him, lol) should i be concerned that both of my tangs arent eating my seaweed(green)?
