Default not eating...

so the male lyretail i just picked up seems to not be eating. he sucks food in and spits it back out. It's only been a couple days, so im not really concerned....yet. ive been putting in frozen reef food daily and frozen brine 2 times a week. I use garlic adds and vitachem as well. any ideas? Are lyretails picky eaters? Any help would be great.

Stop with the brine, they'll eat it but there is no real nutritional substance to eat. Check this out. Might help you answer all of your anthia questions!

I have a copperband butterfly that did the same thing for 3 weeks. Now he eats like a pig.
