Default I found an achilles!!!

For $75.00/ea

I'm calling tomorrow to place the order if they actually do have it.......

That would be such a nice addition and perfect timing, my hippo needs a tank mate, the little guys in there are boring him lol

Few words of advice, be careful with that fish in that tank. It may be a little small down the road. Also, they are really hard to keep it says on the internet, so keep those parameters nice and neat. How long has the tank been up and running, if it is an "older" tank you should be alright, but if its still new i would hold off a little bit on it.

You will need flow galore for they Surge zones plus they ship for crap. Also becareful due to the amazing "Ich" magnets that they are.

Good luck!

You and your Hippo Tang may be sorry if you introduce an Achilles Tang into a 90. The Tang family and the Achilles in general are very territorial and there will be severe challenges between the two Tangs initiated by the Achilles. It could lead to the death of one. Secondly, as Jeremy pointed out, your 90 is on the small side for even one Tang. Tang's are wide roamers in the Ocean, traveling in large aggregations on the look out for food. Keeping one in any size home aquarium is a serious reduction in their usual range. That brings out the territorial fighting. You must also take into account that your Hippo Tang reaches a length of 12" and the Achilles 15" in the wild. I would not recommend the Achilles even though the price is right.

I think everyones advice is correct from what i have researched, however in my old system i had a rabbit, yellow and the blue in one tank, they all seemed fine. the yellow is a bit more aggresive then an achilles. The hippo has the largest "roaming" requirements, so with having just the 2 tangs i think we'll be ok???? But believe me, if i'm wrong you will all hear about it i promise, i may make up some other story tho lol

As far as tank parameters, i'm a dam hawk and test twice a week, i think the stability of my tank is doing so well because the LS & LR is from my old system that was running for a few years...
