Default Diamond Watchman Goby

I have a Diamond Watchman Goby, What can i feed him? I keep thinking theres not enough stuff on the bottom of my tank for him to eat. I keep seeing him swim up and eat stuff off my live rock...does that mean he is hungry...or is he wanting somthing different?(veggies)

mine hides under a large peice of live rock. I DID have green hair algea growing, but it's all gone now. he actually comes out when I feed in the mornings and grabes a few bites. I include some red algea in the feeding as well, which he seems to like.

I just added one of these to my tank last weekend..I too have been worried about him eating. Last night he finally came out during feeding and ate 2 or 3 pellets before my other fish got to them. Other than him putting sand all over the rocks he seems to be doing good..Does anyone have experience with them and know some of their habits, quirks, you know the info they don't tell you at the lfs.

My Goby has dug himself a house and I think he even has a basement. He spends most of the day out and about eating anything and everything. Then at night he goes in his house under the rock and covers the entrance with sand. Next morning he will dig his way out and off to work he goes. Silly thing.
