| Net him at night. Often, you can stun a fish by turning the bright lights on after a couple hours of darkness. Another option would be to "go fishing" for him and catch him on a barbless hook.

| That's some interesting advice. I was (in two days) able to scare him into a piece of rock that I was ninety percent sure that he was hiding in. I pulled that piece of rock and put it in a bucket of about 2 or three gallons of my tank water and he cooperated nicely the next day. |
