Default Sand Sifters

I added a sand sifting diamond goby to my tank last friday, he has been busy a work cleaning the sand and stirring things up. The water is ALWAYS cloudy now... is there a way to help filter out some of these fine suspended sediment particles from the water column? Should i add a canister filter maybe? or other media in the sump? or just learn to live with it? If thats the case, will this afect my corals (none yet, in the future) ability to get light?

help!!!

when I added mine he did the same thing for a day or 2 until he figured out where he wanted his "house" to be. After that he will occasionally stir things up a bit, but not too bad. I am using aragonite for my sandbed, if you are using something finer it may be worse.

You could try a filter sock on your drain pipe from the main tank.
