Default College photography project

I have to make a small portfolio of 10 to 15 prints for my photography class this semester, so I decided to use aquarium photography as my subject. I'll post a few new pics every once in a while, and any suggestions or criticisms that anyone can offer would be appreciated, as I could use some feedback. Thanks!

The camera is a digital rebel that has been re-programmed to function like a more high-end cannon digital SLR, but you could get any of these shots without the re-program

Thanks for the positive feedback! But again, any criticisms would help too. I like the shots so far, but they aren't the best pictures I've taken. Anyone have any suggestions of what they would like to see? An older woman in my class told me that she could possibly get me in contact with the director of the Monterey Bay Aquarium (about an hour and a half from where I live), so I may be able to get in there after or before business hours and get some good shots. My fingers are crossed on that one! I actually was just hired at a LFS that moved closer to where I live that has a GREAT set up. If anyone here lives in the Bay Area, its called Aquarium Concepts in Dublin. Now I'm sure that I'll get plenty of new corals and fish to shoot, so expect more to come. Again, thanks to all for the feedback

My problem right now is that the tank I have I bought used and the glass isn't clear and I have a hard time getting clear pictures through it.

Sorry no posts in a while. I've been really busy re-doing the website for the company I'm working for. The website is Welcome to Aquarium Concepts - The Aquarium Superstore! , I did all the photography myself, most of the site is still under construction but check out the freshwater barracuda pic on the banner of the freshwater page. There are some pictures of tangs and clownfish up in the saltwater fish section as well.
