Default What is the best camera for under water photography?

Of course it would need to be saltwater proof. Don't want to spend a fortune but I also don't want to go super cheap either. Let me know your opinions.

Most SLR cameras have the option to buy a waterproof casing for that camera, that is the route you want to take if you want to spend less than 2k on a camera.

How much do you want to spend, and how deep does it need to go?

Ive read good reviews of Olympus Stylus 1030 SW but no personal exp, its supposed to be good to 33ft.
