Its still new and I am slowly working up on it.

Its about a month old maybe a month and a half.

We would never laugh. We would applaud you for showing us your tank and tell you to keep up the good work and keep the pics coming as it progresses.

Should i get a refugium or a sump for my 30 gal tank?

Sumps and refugiums are always good. More water means more stability. It just depends on how much time you have to spend setting these things up.

yeah why would we laugh at you?

you have to start somewheres right?

good job so far, keep it up

this is a rewarding hobby that takes alot of time and *cough cough* "money"

lol

If you wallet allows, get an overflow box and do a sump/refugium, your tank will love you for it as it'll help keep things stable

I may have to have the sump/refugium on the floor and get the siphon effect going. There is no space under the tank for it. We have so many 10 gallon tanks that I may make that into my sump and get another one for a refugium. I also have on of those all tanks. its a 20 gallon.
