The fuge is the middle chamber, I am going to remove that sponge and use rubble rock there instead I think. You'd be surprised, them pods will get into everything.

Well I bit the bullet today...

I got my flow problems solved...

Two Tunze 6100 Streams with magnets *and* the 7095 multicontroller...

I will also be using the two tunze 6025's I have.

and just *incase* that isnt enough, I have a 6060 stream to use as well

I cant figure out how you deal with so much flow. Between my return and 2 power heads I am turning over about 30 times the tank volume. Everything seems to do fine but nothing really opens up nice and I used too fine a sand cause if Im not careful that gets to blowing around. I alternate pumps during the course of a day and thats seems to work best but soon as they are both working everything shrinks and thats it pretty much for the day. Do you think I could put down a coarser sand over the sand I already have?

It has always seemed to me that coral dont like a constant flow from on direction. If that is what you have maybe you need to look into some sort of flow divertor, not a wave maker, but one of those flow divertors like go on the front of the hydor pumps.

Tunze Flow is different flow then a conventional powerhead.

Its actually rather gentle even while being so many GPH...

My flow for the display is :

2x6100 Tunze Streams
1x6000 Tunze Stream
7095 Tunze Multicontroller
Mag 12 Return Pump

Happy Tangs and Happy Tank

The corals will close up at first but they get used to it after a week or so and open up. I watched it happen on my 90 for the 1'st week or so (52x turnover on my 90)

PS: My tank is ALL plumbed except for my phosban reactors and U/V unit, Still debating if I wanna tie my frag tank into the system for added watervolume...
