Are cleaner wrasses rare or something. I had never seen one and then I went to the LFS yesterday and she had 4 of them, it confused me.

cleaner wrasses are "hard to take care of" from what I keep hearing.

My tangs love the cleaner wrasse, and I'm sure he loves them as well.

Eats a mix of mysis/mysid, brine, zooplankton and other small meaty foods.

Its an interesting fish for sure.

I dunno if they are so much rare or maybe something that comes in certain seasons?

Cleaner wrasse are hard fish to keep, so most places don't get them in, esp. 4 at a time. Did the LFS have 4 cleaner wrasse, or 4 cleaner gobies? Cleaner gobies are much easier to keep.

I have had 2 cleaner wrasse. One went carpet surfing. I had that guy for about 6 months. then a few months ago, got another one because my lfs FINALLY got one in, had it for about 2-3, maybe 4 months. Now, I cant find it! Only MIA since friday. I am really bummed! I loved that little guy. Im gonna take a guess and say he died over night and a crab got a good snack. Bummer!
