Default Our school field trip today!

We live near Dallas, Texas and visited the aquarium there today as part of school. We loved looking at all the cool reef tanks! Here are some pics, thought some would like to see.

That is really neat! I remember going to the public aquarium when I was younger, and I recently took my cousins too.

Thanks guys, appreciate you looking! I love photography, my second/third passion (it's a tie right now). I find it very challenging to take good clear pics of the inside of a tank! I use a dslr camera and have it on manual, just to help me remember I am trying to teach myself how to take better pics.

Thanks for looking!

Nice shots and interesting tank/fish. Do you use a tripod?

I use a tripod with my tank, didn't think to take mine with to this trip, would've been nice to have though!

Thanks!

I have been told by a friend to shut the tank OFF when taking pictures- #1 it stops the water movement obviously, and #2 that when all is still, the fish come out of the woodwork (or rockwork!) to see what is going on--- perfect time to take the shots!
Just how BIG was tat octopus?! I really love going to aquariums as well! Thanks for sharing with us!
