Default Help with Orange Carnation

We have an orange carnation in our tank and it doesn't seem to want to expand. Our tank is established, we feed cyclopeze and we have it covered (so as not to expose it to too much light).

Any suggestions on how to help this coral?

What are all your parameters? These are always helpful to have when there are problems and questions.

These are non-photosynthetic corals that seldom survive in home aquaria for more than a year.

Enjoy it while you have it. They are beautiful just dont over dose the plankton trying to keep it alive.

Thanks for all of the advice! I've been feeding microvert in the AM and cyclopeze in the PM every day for a week now and guess what?!?!?

My orange carnation is blooming and opened up. It looks better than when we bought it at our LFS!

Let me know if you want pics. Thanks again!!
