Default green star dead or alive

i have a green star polyp the first 2 days it was fully out now nothing has came out for about 5 days now did water check every thing was fine is this normal or is something wrong

They sometimes go dormant just before they split. How's your light and waterflow?

water flow is good lighting is stock jbj nano cube dx lighting

Did you float the coral, i'm sure you did i just had to ask. My LFS keeps the salinity at 1.024-1.025. I kept mine at 1.022 because i only had fish. Well I now know from reading here that it's best to keep the salinity in the 1.024-1.025 range.

I would think the salinity shock would hurt the polyps alot. I just bought some of these today and they came out while i was floating them and they came out even more (all the way) after 30 min. I love this coral and I hope it takes over the whole tank! you should get some more!

do you have any pics of your tank?
