Default Iodine

Is Iodine Really Nessesary For Xenia I Know Some People Use It And Others Dont. Should I Add An Iodine Supplement To My Tank Or Not. I Heard That Saltwater Usaully Has Iodine In It Natually But Skimmers Tend To Remove It.

Iodine does get pulled out of the tank's water quickly and it is proven that Xenia does better with iodine. If you do dose iodine, make sure that you test for it since it is dangerous to your inhabitants if it is overdosed.

Everyone doesn't like iodine, but I have definitely seen a difference in all of my polyps, xenia and mushrooms since using it. They are growing and spreading like weeds.

I am still out to lunch on the iodine issue. I have never used it. I am going to test the levels in my tanks first before messing with it.
