Default Leather? Colt Coral? help

Not sure what to call this exactly, but the guy at the LFS said it was a leather and what I have seen from pictures it looks like a Colt Coral. Either way it is has looked different in the past couple of days.
It normally goes from big to small (what you see in the picture), but in the last few days it hasn't come out of its "funk". I have noticed a little bit of brown film around the bottom and some brown "fingers" on the branches. I have read a few posts that it might just be "molting" (not sure what the correct term is). I have it about half way up in a medium to high water flow. I recently did a 15% water change (could it be stressed from that?) and all of the other coral and inverts look great!

Thanks, I was reading a bunch of threads about Colt's and came across one about "my brain killed my colt" I actually had a brain right below this colt... So I moved the brain to the other side of the tank. I saw a snail(without a shell?) moving all over it last night to this morning and it seems to have cleaned the brown stuff off.
It is looking a little better this morning but hasn't perked up. I have had it nice and big for about 2 weeks before it started this, so my wife and I got really concerned. She was really stressing out about it, she hates to see anything in our tank struggle.

just as a follow up ,,, got a second colt coral which has become a center piece to my tank,, it goes into that dormant, scrinking state fro several days and then blossoms, they are territorial and will defend or attack to maintain and or grow larger , following is an article that might help tounderstand what they do:
AquariumFish.com :: Aquarium Fish International :: The monthly magazine for both novice and expert aquarium hobbyists.

i've got 14 different corals in my 90 g , i feed them ocean blend once a day and iodine twice a week and they all seem happy i also feed them coral planckton or other food three times aweek.....
enjoy

Defiently a colt..

I have alot of flow in my tank and it seems to enjoy it alot, was closed at first but now it never closes except when my blue hippo chews the tops off to get access to his hiding hole...
