Default Great Coral Store In Michigan

hi everyone...i visited a new LFS on sunday in romulus, michigan...OH MY GOD...if anyone in the area has never been to the TROPICORIUM you have got to go. i have never seen so much LPS, SPS, anything you need. they have huge setups of like 7foot by 20foot tanks with just tons of stuff to look at. if it wasnt for my kids, i would of looked around for hours and hours. the prices were really good as well. take a look at the website too. tell me what you think.

sounds cool! weres romulus? im in the flint area. if its semi-close i might have to go check it out.

alls i have around here is a LFS called pruess's and they are very overpriced.
i perty much rely on local frag swaps for any coral.

Where at in Romulus? Do you have a link to there website? I just visited Moby Dicks out in Clarkston this weekend. They had a very nice setup for just about anything that suits your fancy, a little high in price.
take care

AlGarr, depends on where you are coming from. if you take 275 south and get off at sibley road and head east, hang a right onto inkster road and its a lil ways down on the right...dont blink though, you will pass right by it...i did. looks like a run down house but its not. it isnt set up very well for heavy traffic so if you have kids, go by yourself, the aisles are very narrow..but thats because they have so much stuff.

i think the owners son's name is ray, white dude with a mustache, looks like he listens to heavy metal, he pretty much runs the place i think. my cousin kevin introduced me to him...he knows alot and is really helpful, just doesnt have the greatest attention span, dont let anyone ask him a question or ask for help while he is helping you, you'll never see him again.

steve

ps...take a look out one of the back doors into their yard..its like one of those japanese looking yards with a big pond, a bridge, turtles, frogs, etc...its probably not looking so sweet now that winter is here. you would never even know the yard looked like that in that neighborhood..like a lil hidden secret garden.

i think there is even a baracuda in one of the tanks somewhere, big sucker! dont drop your kids in there.
