Default my xenia

ok whats the deal hear i orgianally bought one stalk so to say of xenia and it split and grew lil baby one's all in all i have now about 8 individual stalks but recently two of them had shrunk down and died and all the others are doing just fine now i think its my salt mix reason for that is i have changed nothing cept for that but the thing is that the salt that i got was from a friend who uses it currently on his tank and i gave some of my xenia to and his are fine and spreading

I also have pink pulsing xenia bin in the tank for about 6 months now have almost over populated the top half of my tank and over night one hole side is shrinking and apears to be dieing off the other side is totaly fine looking whats up with that??
