Default xenia and my lemonpeel angel

so I have a lemonpeel angel and i just put in some pom pom xenia i had the other day but he seems to like to take a couple bits at it. any ways of preventing this? aside from removing one of the two

Lemonpeels are notorious "pickers." Yours has probably developed a "fine palate" for your Xenia. I believe once an angel has developed a taste for an invertebrate (or any food), you're unlikely to discourage it. It's like putting a chocolate ice cream cone in front of a kid and telling them not to lick.
