Default Kenya corals

Whats the difference between a soft coral and a leather or are they the same?

Sorry for the confusing thread title.

I believe they're both soft corals.

Seems as though soft coral is a generalization for those coral that do not have a hard calciferous form to them. For instance leathers, Anthelia, Corallimorphs, Sinularia, Xenia, Nephthea, Anemone, etc.
Hard coral can be either LPS or SPS.

That is what my definition would be until some one comes and tells me I am wrong. Hee Hee
