RyanG said the site was corrupt which was causing the error messages. For the time being, I guess we're setting up shop here.

Yeah, I asked Ryan to check the error, he said it was corrupt due to some of the code being changed by one of the admins. Had to be him or John, but I dunno. He then deleted it and linked it here. Not sure what to do about our sponsors, our old info and such. Still talking to Ryan.

I've been playing with the vBulletin setup, and I'm not sure how easy it's going to be to get things going.

We may be able to get the BNARC folks to help with PHPNuke, but again, it's not that easy.

We need to act fast.

Yeah we lost all our posts and private messages. I dont have the address to the meeting this weekend, or the link to the chat room, and a bunch of other stuff. This is not a good solution. I do like the new smileys though. What to do??

Yeah, I dunno. He deleted w/o really consulting much. I'm trying to get it back up now. Even though it was broken, at least our info was there.

I can no longer access the admin page or anything though.

With the site went our members list and rules of the club. all this will need to be reconstructed. The members list may be difficult due to lack of bookwork. we are truly starting over. we could ask ryan to change the pointer page to read SDIRB has moved and changed names to SDARE. Maybe do a bit of explanation on the page too. That would be making the best out of a no win situation. Put the ideas out there guys.

I'm really at a loss as to what to do.

We are back to square one.

We need to see if he can open it back up at least for us to gather information from.

I'll keep emailing him. You guys were copied on all on the emails from tonight, so you can all see exactly what happened.

He may have misunderstood that the site wasn't working at all and that's why he deleted it.

I'll keep working.

If we can get $100, I'll buy the BlueHost space and start working on building the new site. I just don't have $100 extra of my own to throw at it right now. It's going to take time though because I'll be learning as I go.

We can run it just have to do a little studying on the subject. At least he will get it back and so we can extract the info off of it. So do you want to splitt up the list so its not all on one person?

OK. Ryan is going to reopen the site tonight. Everybody needs to go in and pull as much info as possible that we deem important.

If John can get us the money next week, I'll start working on the site. I think I can make it functional pretty quickly, but we'll see.
