Default Combs44 clown misbars

I picked up a RBTA from Johnny's in Normal last night. I got it in the display arount 9:00 or so last night.

The clowns are still in QT, but are doing well. Seem to be growing already, and eating very well. I've done nothing special to treat the QT tank at this point besides a little garlic, selco, and vitachem with the food. Things are looking up.

I'll get some pics in the next day are so.

Oh....and they're not totally naked

I think they are misbars. Originally I thought they possibly were very young percs, that hadn't developed the entire stripe, but the pieces that they have are starting to become more defined. One of them has part of all three stripes, and the other has one and a dot of the second.

They are pretty cool looking, and starting to become very personable.

You should've picked up the last two!

Well, I lost a clown in QT today. Not what I wanted to come home to.

Don't know the cause at this point. The other one is fine and eating fine. Maybe she killed the other.

Sorry for your loss, did you happen to pick up another when the new shipment came in?

I didn't yet because I went in the store about an hour after they got the clowns acclimated. I didn't want to chance overstressing it, so I'm waiting until next week to pick one up.

The last time I was in there, he had some picasso clowns. Young and not dark orange yet. Blow a paycheck on two fish. Almost 300 a piece!

Johnny in Bloomington had a pair for $300. Offered them to me for $199 since I met him on BNARC's website.

Saltwaterfish.com is selling them right now for $99 a piece, but you are limited to 1 fish per $175 order.

$300 a piece is pretty steep.
