The 22nd is good for me! We should all pick a general topic of discussion.

I agree 100%, like combs44 said we should pick a topic so we can all do a little research or w/e and discuss that for a portion of the meeting.

Start Simple?

Basic water chemistry discussion? What is in sea water, what we are trying to add and why. What salinity, calcium levels, ph, alkalinity, trace elements... effects of evaporation, too efficient skimming, heavy fish/coral loads. The make up of RO water.

Or topic like basic equipment and how it operates, proper maintenance, choosing equipment to suit individual needs. Filtration, lighting & gizmos.

Or topic like proper coral mixing choosing tank mates sessile or otherwise...

I like to talk about all of it, what does everyone else want to discuss in depth?

Basic Water Chemistry, What & When to test for, what ppm levels should those tested for be at.
When, What & Why to dose certain things.

All of these sound good to me. Lets wait a few days into march to gather more input, at that point we will run a poll of topics for a week then that will tell us what topic everyone wants and still have some research time.
